HOW TO WASH YOUR WIG
Please follow these directions on how to wash, care, and prolong the life of your human hair products:
1. Remove Knots
Gently remove any knots and tangles with a soft wig brush or a wide tooth comb. For long hair always hold the base of the hair when brushing and removing knots to avoid shedding.
Hold your Human Hair wig, hair system, or top piece in your hand by the edge of the base. Gently wet under “lukewarm” running water. Do not soak hair, as this may cause knotting. Do not rub or scrub hair together, as this may cause knotting and damage.
Apply a small amount of sulfate free shampoo and distribute consistently into the hair with fingers. Do not soak hair, as this may cause knotting. Do not rub or scrub hair together, as this may also cause knotting and damage.
Rinse thoroughly in cold water to remove all shampoo residue
Apply a small amount of alcohol-free conditioner, and distribute consistently with fingers.
Rinse thoroughly in cold water to remove conditioner.
7. Towel Dry
Place your open hand under the base to hold steady, take a towel with your other hand and gently pat down. Do not rub, scrub, squeeze, twist, or wring hair.
Place human hair wig, hair system, or top piece, on a folding stand or pin to a polystyrene mannequin head to air dry naturally.
9. How to prevent hair shedding
You can use any Knot sealing product to seal the knots on your lace wig to help prevent hair shedding. To seal the knots on your wig turn your wig cap inside out and cover up the rest of wig hair with a towel are anything that you have that will protect the rest of the hair from getting any knot sealer on to it and then spray your lace wig cap and let it dry before you wear it. It’s also recommended after every wash and dry you resealed your knots.
Please note that human hair should wash at lease every two weeks. But if hair get dirty more often you can wash it more frequently
